A good start

Dear Parents and 3rd Graders,

We have had a good start to our year, with a quiet first day, settling in to our class and making certain of all the rules that apply to the various areas around the school.  The students and I had time to get to know each other and I am very excited about the year ahead.

Please visit our class’s blog on a regular basis.  I will keep you all up to date with important events, schedules, tests, dates and so forth.  I am looking forward working together with you all as a great team.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if there are any queries at crous.his@gmail.com.  Please note that all students have a homework book which needs to be signed on a daily basis.  Should it be necessary for you to communicate with me, you are also more than welcome to write a note in the homework book. All homework will be indicated in this book, making it easier for you as a parent to assist me in making certain that homework is done.

Please make sure all students are wearing proper shoes on PE days.  PE takes place every Tuesday and Thursday.  Students can also bring an extra shirt or set of clothes to school on these days.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible at our Parent – Teacher introduction evening, which will be held soon.

Welcome Parents and 3rd Graders

Dear Parents and 3rd Graders,

A warm welcome to all the parents and students in the Grade 3 class!  I trust that you have all had a wonderful summer and that you are looking forward to the new school year.

My name is Anneloe Crous and I will be the new classroom teacher for Grade 3.for this school year.  I am South African and have been in Taiwan for five and a half years.

There will be many new challenges facing us all this year, but I trust that together we can overcome all the obstacles.  I believe in providing a supportive learning environment where each child will be encouraged and have the opportunity to reach his/her full potential.

As part of our daily school routine we have a healthy snack break in the mornings.  Please help to promote healthy eating habits by providing your child healthy snacks each day.   I ask that no candy be included in the snack.

Listed below you will find the classroom supply list so that your child can be prepared for the new school year.  Please feel free to contact me with any concerns, suggestions or questions.  My door is always open.  Please feel free to contact me via e-mail at crous.his@gmail.com or at school.

I look forward to meeting and getting to know you all better during the coming year.

Kind Regards,

Ms. Anneloe Crous
