Dear Parents and Students,
I cannot believe we are at the end of the first semester! I am very proud of the Grade 3’s! I am proud of the hard work everyone has put in, their energy and enthusiasm, and their positive attitudes. Thank you, Students, for an unforgettable first semester! Thank you, Parents, for your hard work too, your time, your support and your continuous cooperation. What a pleasure to have you all on our team!
Curriculum Progress in Week 20:
Math: We finished the unit on Division. (Chapters 10 and 11)
Science: We finished Chapter 7 and we learnt a lot about the Earth’s resources and how we should protect it and use it wisely.
Oral presentation: Most students are finished with their research and busy with their PowerPoint documents. Some students already started with their speech and making cue cards.
Evelyn Hsu is leaving us and will go to school in Canada from next semester. We are very sad to say goodbye to such a lovely student and friend, and we wish her all the best for her future and her stay in Canada .
Michitaro Yasui’s birthday on February 5th but we celebrated with him on Friday. Happy birthday, Michitaro! We hope that you will have a wonderful day and we wish you endless happiness and great health for the years to come. Thank you for treating us to delicious pizza and cake!
Our student of the week is Yehna Jung. She takes her class job very seriously and she is an excellent helper in the class. Her quality of work is remarkable and her level of enthusiasm is invariably high! Well done, Yehna! Congratulations!
Happy Chinese New Year to all of you! Enjoy the break and spending time with family and friends. Those of you who are travelling, take care and keep safe. Have fun, everyone!
